Description
Tales from the Great Wood
Written and directed by Kate Bramley, starring Richard Kay and Danny Mellor.
Design by Catherine Dawn.
Listen! Can you hear the whispering in the trees? The Great Wood is full of stories.
It is a hot summer’s day, perfect for basking in the sun. But instead of resting, Hetty the hare is investigating!
Because someone is missing.
And as she unravels a tall tale, that stretches from end to end of The Great Wood, Hetty realises that every creature- no matter how small – can have a huge part to play in the world of the forest.
Join Badapple actors Richard Kay and Danny Mellor, and a host of puppets, for their interactive storytelling eco-adventure for ages 5-95, perfect for kids and grandparents to enjoy getting back together.
Kindly supported by Arts Council England, distributing funds from the National Lottery.
“Bramley’s dialogue fizzes with life, energy and humour and her storytelling and direction are constantly inventive.” YORK PRESS
