Eco-tainment Evening: Our last event was Friday 17th June 2022, new dates soon
Our friends from You Ukes will kick off the evening by leading an All Instrument / All Voices Jam Sessions of Eco-orientated songs. Bring an instrument, bring your voice, bring your friends, chords sheets and lyrics will be provided.
For our featured performance, we have local duo Kissing Frogs with a set of eco-orientated songs and, in addition, we have two local Climate Comedians: Roland Sebero (of the Take the Jump Launch and Godalming Green Gala fame) and Shirley Faraday with her debut performance.
Following the featured slot, we open the stage to an Eco-open Mic, bring along your stories, songs, poetry and comedy to share with us.
The What Next Centre is a BYO venue, although we’re happy to make you tea / coffee or a soft drink.
This event is free of charge, but of course we would be delighted to receive any donations either in advance or on the evening.
Music, Comedy, Theatre and Performance
We run regular eco-tainment evenings featuring music, poetry, comedy, dancing and more, in recognition of the climate and ecological emergency, but also in celebration of the natural world – its beauty, its power and its importance to us all.
We also have an Eco-theatre Group.
The Prettiest Flower – Eco-tainment Music from Lost & Found
So, take the opportunity to spend an evening with us singing, chatting, reflecting and enjoying ourselves. It is through our collective efforts as a community, as businesses, as governments and as a species that we will succeed.
All Eco-tainment evenings are free of charge, but we would welcome any donations to help meet our running costs.
